In my early-mid 20s, I was obsessed with creating geometric patterns. I drew thousands of them on bar napkins, sketchbooks, and really any paper I could find. In 2022, I rediscovered them while cleaning out my childhood room. These drawings mark a time in my life where I was incapable of changing my behavior and life became a pattern of bad decisions followed by even worse consequences and feelings.

This series highlights my behavioral patterns (old and new), showing which have begun to change and which I’ve continued to struggle with since getting sober.
